Project Engineer

About the role

Assist the Project Manager in planning, executing, and monitoring projects according to established timelines. Coordinate and maintain communication between China teams, Indonesia teams, contractors, stakeholders, and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Review project design documents, technical specifications, and working drawings
• Monitor construction activities in the field to ensure work complies with design, quality standards, and safety procedures
• Prepare project progress reports, documentation, and presentations for management
• Identify technical issues during project execution and assist in finding appropriate solutions
• Support the Project Manager in coordinating engineering and operational project coordination between China and Indonesia teams

About you

• Minimum S1 degree in Engineering, preferably Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related engineering fields
• Experience in construction/project engineering, particularly in chemical, smelting, metallurgy, oil & gas, or heavy industry
• Strong communication and coordination skills with ability to work in multicultural/cross-functional teams
• Active English proficiency in both spoken and written forms
• Ability to understand technical documents, project specifications, and engineering drawings
• Ability to work quickly, adaptively, and understand technical and project requirements well
• Strong problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills
• High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality of technical and business information
