Position: Bilingual Croatian Generalist Expert — AI Safety

Type:Contract

Compensation:$38–$42/hour

Location:Remote

Commitment:20+ hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Write expert-level prompts in Croatian across a range of sensitive subject areas.

• Apply structured guidelines to classify prompts and conversations.

• Flag adversarial phrasings and escalation patterns. Document the reasoning behind your judgments.

• Use language fluency and cultural judgment to evaluate and strengthen model handling of sensitive topics.

• Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Native or near-native fluency in Croatian. Business-level written English.

• A Bachelor's degree, completed or in progress.

• Strong written reasoning and high attention to detail.

• Sound judgment around sensitive and dual-use information.

Preferred

• Based in Croatia or the wider Eastern Europe region.

• Experience reviewing, grading, or red-teaming written or technical content.

• Background in trust and safety, content moderation, policy evaluation, or adversarial testing.
