Middleware Engineer

Job Description

• Integration \& Architecture: Build and manage Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) and API Gateways to connect core banking systems with digital channels.
• System Availability: Install, configure, and tune application servers and message brokers to maintain 99.99% uptime.
• Security \& Compliance: Enforce PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and regulatory standards using mTLS, encryption, OAuth2, and SSL certificate management.
• Monitoring \& Incident Response: Track transaction traffic in real time and conduct root cause analysis for system bottlenecks or outages.
• DevOps \& Automation: Write scripts to automate deployments, system maintenance, and configuration management.

Requirements

• Education \& Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT with 3\+ years of experience in the FSI sector.
• Integration Tools: Expertise in IBM WebSphere, MuleSoft, Red Hat Fuse, Tibco, Apache Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
• Financial Protocols: Strong knowledge of ISO 20022, ISO 8583, RESTful APIs, SOAP, and FIX Protocol.
• Infrastructure \& Cloud: Hands-on experience with Linux, Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Security \& APM: Proficiency in mTLS, PKI, OAuth2, and monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Prometheus, Splunk, or ELK Stack.
• Core Skills: Strong scripting abilities (Bash, Python, Ansible) and readiness for rotational 24/7 on-call support.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Jakarta: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
