Job Summary:

The IT Infrastructure Engineer is primarily responsible for maintaining and supporting a complex multi-site heterogeneous IT environment across NV5 Geospatial's APAC operations. The engineer will conduct system analysis and development in collaboration with the broader IT operational staff to keep systems current with changing technologies. This mid-level role requires strong knowledge of Windows server administration and a solid understanding of enterprise-class network, virtualisation, storage, and identity infrastructure.

Working as an infrastructure generalist, the successful candidate will install, configure, and support Windows servers; manage Active Directory and core network services; deploy and maintain virtual machines; contribute to automation and scripting initiatives; and help ensure secure, reliable infrastructure services for teams across Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, and connected global sites.

Work Environment / Location:

• Based in the APAC region — candidate may be located in Malaysia, Singapore, or the Philippines
• Supports a multi-site, multi-country infrastructure environment in collaboration with global IT teams
• Hybrid or office-based arrangement depending on local site and business needs
• Less than 10% travel (occasional regional or international travel may be required)

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, optimise, and maintain Windows servers (physical and virtual) across multi-site environments.
• Install, configure, optimise, and maintain enterprise-class network and storage infrastructure.
• Deploy, configure, and manage virtual machines in a mixed hypervisor environment.
• Provide technical support and expertise for servers that may be physical, virtual, or remote.
• Configure and administer Active Directory, including users, security groups, organisational units, and group policies.
• Manage and troubleshoot core services and protocols including DNS, DHCP, FTP, SFTP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL, and IIS web sites.
